Barrett Marsden Gallery exhibits innovative work from nationally and internationally renowned artists whose conceptual interests are linked to concerns for skill, process and material. Much of this work transcends the formally defined boundaries of fine art, applied art and design and resists classification in any single category. A broad spectrum of media are involved: ceramics, glass, wood, cloth and metal.

Artists represented by the gallery include Gordon Baldwin Alison Britton, Caroline Broadhead, Ken Eastman, Philip Eglin, Maria Van Kesteren, Chun Liao, Robert Marsden, Carol McNicoll, Sara Radstone, Nicholas Rena, Michael Rowe, Richard Slee, Martin Smith and Emma Woffenden.
