Rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren, St Mary-le-Bow was almost completely destroyed by enemy action in 1941 but was again rebuilt and re-consecrated in 1964. Prayer and worship have been offered on the site occupied by St Mary-le-Bow for over a thousand years.

St Mary-le-Bow is an active church serving all who work in and visit the City of London. The church opens at 7.00 a.m. each weekday, an oasis of peace and stillness in the midst of the City. Visit the Norman crypt, study the beautiful modern stained glass, hear the famous Bow Bells.
