Visitor Information

Gray's Inn Gardens – surrounded by the prestigious Inns of Court – are known as "the Walks" and were laid out by Sir Francis Bacon when he was Treasurer in 1606. Pretty avenues of trees and lush grass make it a popular lunchtime spot in the summer. Find out about the gardens' colourful history on the Gray's Inn website.
