In the Middle Ages part of the preaching nave of the church of the great Dominican Priory at Blackfriars stood on this site. Now, this small enclosed area provides a quiet spot for relaxing if you're visiting the nearby St Paul's Cathedral. A large Tree of Heaven dominates the garden, which is bordered by a selection of shrubs and smaller trees.
