As one of London’s first alternative spaces, the Eagle Gallery has established a reputation for supporting the work of emerging artists whilst encouraging established names to work experimentally in site-specific contexts.

The Eagle Gallery presents 10 exhibitions annually by represented and invited artists and and participates in art fairs in the UK and abroad. The gallery space is also used to host book launches and performance events.

The Eagle Gallery has initiated many projects to bring artists together with musicians, composers, writers and filmmakers, collaborating with organisations including Aldeburgh Music, Almeida Opera, Sadler’s Wells Theatre and Tate Britain.

Public exhibitions featuring the Eagle Gallery’s represented artists include Basil Beattie (Paintings from the Collection) at Tate Britain in 2007, Charlotte Hodes (Fragmented Images) at the Wallace Collection in 2007, Terry Smith (Broken Voices) at the Venice Biennale and Paul Coldwell (I called while you were out) at Kettle’s Yard in 2008.
