Taking its name from a former alumnus of the London School of Economics (who are the present owners) the Peacock Theatre was re-launched in 1996. A stained glass mural in the Circle Bar acts as a reminder of its original 1960s d?cor which has been radically updated to serve its current, dual purpose as a lecture theatre by day for the LSE and the West End home of Sadler.s Wells by night. It hosts a lively and popular range of music and dance theatre from across the world with such greats as Tango Por Dos and Les Ballets Trockadero de
Monte Carlo all having performed here, but is probably best known for its traditional Christmas run of The Snowman.
