Visitor Information

The Globe Theatre is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599. The annual theatre season runs from April – October with productions of the work of Shakespeare, his contemporaries and new writers. Throughout the year Globe Education offers family activities, courses, lectures and staged readings while Shakespeare’s Globe Exhibition and Theatre Tour is a comprehensive and engaging introduction to the life of Shakespeare.
