As well as providing peace for worship and reflection, the City’s churches are a rich part of its architectural heritage. This walk will show you the amazing variety of those built by Sir Christopher Wren – who rebuilt 51 churches, including St Michael Paternoster Royal (Dick Whittington’s church) and St Mary le Bow (the Cockney church) – taking in their glorious steeples and beautiful interiors as well as revealing their connections with great historical events and famous people.

Accessibility
This walk involves dealing with kerbs and also involves visiting one church which has no wheelchair access.
