February 2003 heralded the official launch of Hiscox Art Projects – a public exhibition of contemporary art in the centre of the City of London.

Hiscox's aim is to make exciting contemporary collections and exhibitions readily accessible to those living and working in the City, as well as the wider art community.

Hiscox Chairman, Robert Hiscox, a supporter and collector of contemporary works, commented:

"Art is a passion of mine. It is also an integral part of the culture of Hiscox. We insure it, we own it and we encourage it. The launch of the Art Projects now gives us the opportunity to share it. At Hiscox we believe art should stimulate, interest and please. Throughout this coming year we will deliver exhibitions which do just that."
