Qualified City of London Guides lead a series of guided walks around this important Grade I listed church. Located next to the Tower of London, it has a wealth of history to be discovered. Following execution on Tower Hill, numerous beheaded bodies were brought into the church, including those of Thomas More, Bishop John Fisher and Archbishop Laud; William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania, was baptised here; and John Quincy Adams, sixth president of the USA, married here in 1797.

All Hallows survived the 1666 Great Fire of London but was so badly damaged by bombing during World War II that only the tower and the walls remained. Nine years later the church was rebuilt, with the foundation stone laid by the late Queen Mother. Take one of these tours and discover more about All Hallows’ long and eventful past.
