Visitor Information

This tennis league, which takes place at the courts at Golden Lane Leisure Centre, is designed to offer residents and workers competitive matches at a time that suits you. It is divided into groups of about six players of a similar standard and everyone in their group plays everyone else in matches consisting of one tiebreak – players get one point for every set won. At the end of the round, the top one or two players go up to the next group, and the bottom oneor two go down. Participants arrange their own matches and receive a free can of balls and two bonus points for completing three matches by the half way point. Group winners get £20 and a certificate.

Entry fee for the Golden Lane league is £10.
