The tour lasts 1 hour and costs £6 per person.

8 Mar, 19 Apr, 24 May, 21 Jun and 19 Jul 2012

Newly created in 2011, these tours of the majestic Guildhall take place on the days of the City of London Corporation's Court of Common Council meetings so that visitors – should they wish to – can subsequently attend the meeting.

On the tour, led by a qualified City of London Guide, you'll hear about Guildhall's history, including its survival through the Great Fire and the Blitz and some of the notorious events that took place here, such as Lady Jane Grey’s 1553 trial.

Please note
Places must be booked in advance and your booking will only be valid when it is confirmed. You can only book for up to 10 people by emailing info@cityoflondontouristguides.com stating the amount of people (including names), contact details and your preferred date.

If you are a larger group, bookings can also be made for other dates by contacting remcommitteerooms@cityoflondon.gov.uk or 020 7606 3030. These tours take a maximum of 25 people and the cost is £50. You will need to book a City of London Guide separately by emailing info@cityoflondontouristguides.com.

If any of your party have mobility difficulties, and in particular if they use a wheelchair, mention this, so that appropriate arrangements can be made for them.
