This much-anticipated exhibition at Museum of London celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens (7 February 1812). The famous scribe spent much of his time in the City of London, using it as the backdrop to many novels. This exhibition uses original artefacts, manuscripts and audio-visual experiences to recreate the atmosphere of Victorian London – and shows how he was inspired by the era.
Visit on the opening night (9 Dec, open until 9.30pm) and enjoy music from the London Gay Men’s Chorus and a paying bar, included in ticket price.
