Packed weekend of events celebrating the opening of the museum’s new galleries following a £20m transformation. The state-of-the-art galleries tell the story of the capital from 1666 to the present day, showing how Londoners have shaped the capital, and new displays include the magnificent Lord Mayor's coach, a Victorian Walk and vintage fashions.

Throughout weekend the Museum will be showing a selection of short films about London, including archive footage and newsreels.
