An annual feast of photography, all absolutely free. This year – the 11th – sees over 100 exhibitions and events spread across east London and the City. The Festival launches at the Bishopsgate Institute with a retrospective of the work of photographer Phil Maxwell ‘Forty Years On’.
Other City venues holding exhibitions include the City of London & Cripplegate Photographic Society at City YMCA; the Association of Photographers; Amnesty International; Clifford Thames Gallery; 54 Space Gallery; and The Jerusalem Tavern. Events include the Photomonth Photofair in the Spitalfields Traders Market, the Photomonth Photo-Open at Rich Mix and the Photomonth Portfolio Review at the V&A Museum of Childhood.
