28 Nov – 5.30pm-9pm (preview night – £30 pre-booked tickets including champagne and canapés)
29 Nov – 10.30am-8pm (£5 including a complimentary glass of wine)

City workers and visitors always get excited about this Christmas market – a glass of wine, a bite to eat, present shopping and the warm glow of charity giving all rolled into one. Held every two years at the historic Guildhall, it is the Red Cross's largest London fundraising event and, including its preview night, usually attracts over 3,000 visitors. The market will have over 80 stalls selling a mix of merchandise: from bags and accessories to international foods, fairtrade crafts and bargain new/nearly new designer items. The preview night event will be opened by the Lady Mayoress and Julian Fellowes will be the Guest of Honour (28 Nov) whilst celebrated novelist Sebastian Faulks will be signing books at 6.30pm on the Public Day (29 Nov).
