Today, at the former home of the great dictionary writer you can visit an 18th-century apothecary’s shop, try your hand at writing with a quill and ink and learn the language of fans. Why not try out some true Georgian insults, straight from Johnson’s Dictionary, whilst trying on costumes of the time? Part of Celebrate the City.

Also, every Tuesday during July and August there will be Free Tea at Three with the curators included in the entry price.
