City of London Festival opening event

Visitor Information

To kick off this year’s Festival is a vibrant display of costume, sculpture, music and dance. The Waka on the Thames sees an ornate Maori canoe take to the river (10.30am); the Oceania: Voyages & Discoveries Procession starts at 12.45pm going from Guildhall to St Paul’s; and the Haka is performed in Paternoster Square (1-2pm).
