Where is the City?
The City is at the heart of London making it the perfect base for those wishing to explore all parts of the capital. Surrounded by seven London Boroughs, it is neighbours with London's theatreland to the west; on its eastern perimeter are the trendy markets and bars of Brick Lane and Shoreditch; the British Library, British Museum and Sadler’s Wells are to the north; and the Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and South Bank are just over the river.
