Where to eat and drink

The City is a great place to lunch, be it sashimi on-the-go or a gourmet sandwich in one of the City’s splendid gardens. There is exceptional evening dining here too – from eateries in old banking halls to Michelin-starred restaurants, from pub grub to posh nosh, from French cuisine to Thai curry…

The City’s pubs also deserve special mention. Steeped in history, some have changed little since the likes of Charles Dickens drank in them, while others offer the latest in slick décor, live music and flamboyant cocktails.

Below we’ve listed a number of websites where you’ll be able to find the restaurant or bar of your choice. Simply follow the links and explore.
