With so many of London’s top attractions being located here or minutes away over its borders, the City is the perfect place to stay. It has a wide range of accommodation to suit any pocket, from low-cost hostels to luxury hotels and serviced apartments. There are some great deals at weekends too, when hotels are less busy with business visitors.

These Georgian houses over shops face the churchyard of St Bartholomew the Great, one of the only City churches to escape the Great Fire of 1666. In fact, number 41 is the only remaining house in the City built before the fire. The famous Smithfield Market is nearby and the houses face the buildings of St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
