The Backyard Market, located in the Truman Brewery, opened its doors in the Spring of 2007, offering something new from younger creatives working in arts and crafts. The market includes an enticing selection of retro homewares and vintage items, home-made food and an abundance of other 'backyard' treasures.
Historic Borough Market is one of the only remaining wholesale and retail markets left in central London. Housed in a listed and refurbished Victorian building, it is located on the south side of London Bridge close to Southwark Cathedral. The acclaimed fine food market, which is open to the general public, features an exciting range of international specialist food and wine stalls.
Home of bric-a-brac, bagel bakeries and Bengali restaurants – Brick Lane market stretches out into a network of interesting side streets.
An ideal place to wander around and soak up London’s old port history. The tea, coffee and spice warehouses of yesteryear now house prestigious apartments, restaurants, art galleries, designer shops and other places of interest such as the Design Museum.
