Visitor Information

The Old Truman Brewery, the former Black Eagle brewery complex, was built in the 18th century and at one point employed over 1,000 people, becoming the largest brewery in London and the second biggest in Britain.

This historic site is now a big draw for visitors because of its location on the lively and well-known Brick Lane, the street where curry houses and retro shops happily co-exist. The Truman Brewery houses an appealing mix of restaurants, bars, shops, creative businesses, events spaces, offices and workshops, as well as two weekly fashion markets.
