Affectionately known as “The Gherkin”, this iconic building is one of London’s most unique and prestigious landmarks. The top floors house 40|30: an elegant event space offering 360 degree views across the city, and five exclusive private dining rooms.

Opened in late 2008, this new City venue has an auditorium for up to 200 people theatre style and five additional meeting rooms.

Apothecaries' Hall, owned by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London, has a Great Hall, Court Room and Parlour Room for hire. The word 'apothecary' is derived from apotheca, meaning a place where wine, spices and herbs were stored. During the thirteenth century it came into use in this country to describe a person who kept a stock of these commodities, which he sold from his shop or street stall.
