Visitor Information

The impressive rooms at Middle Temple are available to hire for various functions. The Hall is, in their own words, "one of the finest examples of an Elizabethan hall in the country with a double hammer beam roof carved from the oak of Windsor Forest and an elaborately carved screen made in 1574." Its oak panels are festooned with coats of arms and the impressive windows are made from heraldic glass memorials to notable Middle Templars. The Hall is reccommended for corporate receptions, formal dinners and wedding receptions and can be configured to suit individual requirements. In fact, this room is still the centre of life for the Inn today as legal students meet there daily for lunch.

The Bench Apartments are three additional rooms available for corporate and private events within Middle Temple Hall – the Parliament Chamber, Queen’s Room and Prince’s Room. Each have individual character and can be used as event spaces and as an area for drinks and canapés preceding a formal dinner in the gardens.

The Parliament Chamber and Queen’s Room are also licensed to hold wedding and civil partnership ceremonies – this can be combined with wedding breakfasts and receptions in the garden or hall.
