Furniture Makers' Hall

This grand 19th-century listed building on Austin Friars is home to the The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers and was acquired in April 2005 (the company is only the fourth Livery company since 1632 to acquire its first hall). On the ground floor is a large dining room for as many as 60 people, with smaller dining areas elsewhere in the building.

The reception area has a striking elliptical staircase, American walnut floor and contemporary furnishings. The Maple Suite on the ground floor is the largest of the three reception rooms and can be divided into two rooms or opened up to create one large reception, conference or dining area. It has natural daylight but for presentations the blinds and curtains can be drawn.

The Arnold Moore Room is an elegant room at the front of the building on the ground floor, overlooking the adjacent Dutch Church. The room has decorative wood panelling, natural daylight and imposing furniture and is suitable for small meetings, lunches or dinners.

The Mike Clare Room is on the first floor and reached by the sweeping staircase which forms the focal point for the whole building. This room also has views of the Dutch Church from the stately sash windows. Suitable for private meetings, receptions or dining.

Catering is provided by Kudos Hospitality.
